How it works

From a phone call to boots on site

No portal to learn and no long intake process. Most requests start with a call or a short email.

  1. Send us the scope

Trade classification, headcount, start date, expected duration and anything specific to the site.

  2. We work our network

We go to technicians we already know in the cabling, security, AV and electrical trades and check availability.

  3. You approve the crew

We confirm who is available and what the rate looks like before anyone is scheduled to your site.

  4. They report to work

Technicians run under your supervision. Payroll, timekeeping, insurance and HR stay with us.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what contractors ask before the first assignment.

Are your technicians employees or subcontractors?

Every technician we place is a W2 employee of WallaceWilliam. We handle payroll, timekeeping, workers compensation, general liability and the HR functions that come with employing field staff, so you are not adding anyone to your own headcount.

What trades do you staff?

On the low voltage side we place structured cabling technicians, AV technicians and security technicians. On the electrical side we place mechanic electricians, jr. mechanic electricians, conduit installers and helpers.

Is there a minimum number of technicians I have to request?

No. We staff projects regardless of size, from a single technician to close out a punch list to a full crew for a long-run installation.

What do you need from me to put a crew together?

The scope of work, the trade classification you need, how many people, your start date and expected duration, and anything specific to the site such as shift hours, building access or reporting requirements. Send that over and we will come back with availability.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. We carry workers compensation and general liability coverage on our employees, and certificates can be issued for your project.

Who supervises the technicians on site?

Our technicians work under your site supervision and follow your schedule, sequence and safety program. Employment matters stay with us, including payroll, timekeeping and HR.

What areas do you cover?

We are headquartered in Midtown Manhattan and staff projects across all five boroughs of New York City.

How are rates determined?

Rates depend on the trade classification, the shift, and the length of the run. Send us your scope and we will price it against what the job actually calls for.
